First Post!

So this is my first post as a blogger...Sometimes I can be a rambler when I type (and talk) but I'll try not to ramble too much. :) I also tend to use a lot of smilies. I am a smiler I suppose. :) You might notice sometimes I use proper grammar and other times I don't. . . I'm not a writer...just a photographer wannabe. I like to talk. I can sometimes be a good storyteller. I am very sentimental and love my family. My heart truly is in North Western Ontario...Emo, ON to be exact. Do the google if you don't know. Its really a great area. Well that's a little about me. and you might just learn a little more if you stick with me here on my project.

But on to the main purpose of this blog. I'm don't have a website yet. I don't even have a flickr account and I just post some of my photos on Facebook but otherwise I don't have a way to display my growth and the things I am learning.

One of the projects in 50 photo projects is to start a blog. check. done. however if I don't post anything to my blog or tell anyone about it, I don't think that counts. . . So, on to the second part of this project, I need to actually post photos to it and tell people what the address is so they can read it too. :)

Right now my camera and fav lens (50mm 1.4) are both broken! :( That's a big fat frowny face. Next week I am going to send them away to get fixed. But until then, I might just post some recent photos so that I actually start this thing and don't procrastinate it any longer. I do want to grow and learn. I shouldn't be lazy. so here I go!

So why don't we start things off with a shot I took last fall of me and the man that I love. I know, I know, its time to start adding new photos....but its 11:35 and I'm totally ready to be sleeping. . .
